I've touted Bernardini as the best horse I've seen since Easy Goer and I still feel the same. He just ran into a better horse on this day. Four Grade One wins and a gutsy second against Invasor are sure to garner him the Three-year-old Eclipse award for this year. Invasor, what else can you say! Wins in The Pimlico Special, Suburban, Whitney and The Classic make him a sure thing for Horse of the Year honors. Hopefully we will see him again next year.
