Principle Secret, C P West, King of the Roxy, Scat Daddy, and Stormello battle early
The favorite won the first Breeders' Cup race of the day, but in The Juvenile it was bombs away as the Carl Nafzger trained Street Sense caught an opening on the rail and accelerated to a record ten-length victory. It was the first Breeders' Cup win for both trainer/owner James Tafel and jockey Calvin Borel. Will this be the end of the Juvenile/Derby jinks? We'll have to wait  until May for the answer to that question
