The Juvenile Jinx!! No horse who has won this race has ever gone on to win the Kentucky Derby. Will it happen again next year? Boston Celtic coach Rick Pitino won't have to worry about it. Although his AP Valentine went off as the favorite the colt bucked his shins, flipped his pallette and bled a little according to trainer Nick Zito. The colt finished last. |

The colt who will face the Jinx is Macho Uno. Owner Frank Stronach, Trainer Joe Orseno, and Jockey Jerry Bailey made it two in a row. The Thoroughbred Corp's. Point Given also ran well missing by a nose as Macho Uno ran greenly at the end. |
