`Angara, Film Maker, Argentina, Honey Rider, and Jade Queen at Flower Bowl turn
Only five fillies went to the starting gate for the first of two Grade I turf races on Breeders' Cup Preview Day, but what a field it was. All five fillies have graded stakes experience and .with the exception of Jade Queen, all were 5 to 1 or lower when the gate opened. In an exciting finish Honey Rider and Film Maker battled while passing the tiring Jade Queen near the wire. At the line Honey Rider managed to hang on for a victory by a nose. Look for both of these great fillies to be at Churchill Downs on November 4th.
