Pomeroy has always enjoyed the Saratoga meet. In 2004 he won The King's Bishop Stakes and The A.G. Vanderbilt Handicap in 2005. With new silks (Silverleaf Farms) and a new trainer (Marty Wolfson) the result stayed the same for the five-year-old Boundary colt as he drew off to win The Forego Stakes. The field for The Forego included Commentator, War Front, and last year's Forego winner Mass Media. Pomeroy will probably be trained to the Breeders' Cup in early November. |
