The Remsen has attracted many fine runners through the years, including Read The Footnotes, Thunder Gulch, Go For Gin and Pleasant Colony. This year's Nashua Stakes winner Bluegrass Cat was sent off as an overwhelming favorite. The Storm Cat-She's a Winner by AP Indy colt had his work cut out for him when Flashy Bull battled him down the stretch (above photo) and gave way grudgingly.  Look for good things from both of these colts next year.
